Who We Are
Natasha Pettit has been a business consultant, project manager, communications director, teacher, and coach -- as well as a writer and editor through it all. She has worked with large and small organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to government programs to individual entrepreneurs just starting out. Natasha is passionate about efficiency, simplicity, empathy, big-picture thinking, beautiful chaos amid structure, and helping people to enrich their lives and work while also enriching their environments and communities. She knows that the world is changed every day by tiny acts of compassionate rebellion. She is a certified Youth Life Coach, a certified middle & high school English teacher, and a highly-trained project manager. She is also a self-certified grammar nerd; her writing and editing cred stems from her bachelor's degree in English & Creative Writing from Bryn Mawr College and her graduate work in the teaching of writing. She holds a Master's degree in education from NYU, and a coaching certification from YCI.

WHO WE WORK WITH
LOCATION: SGC is based in Portland, Oregon and loves to work with both local and national clients.
BUSINESS: Natasha works with established businesses as well as baby businesses still in the eye-twinkle phase. SGC can make big businesses feel intimate and small businesses feel authoritative. 
COACHING: As a certified Youth Coach, Natasha loves working with any young person who needs a bit of a boost to reach his/her goals. However, youth is really not such a faraway land, and she's happy to coach people through any stages and ages of their lives.
WRITING: Bring it on! You need it; we'll help. SGC can do anything from proofreading a short article to ghostwriting an entire book. We love to write marketing copy, edit or consult on academic papers and longer pieces, compose silly songs and poems, and generally weave on the word loom.

PRICING
Our very fair prices vary, and jobs are priced by the hour or project depending on the scope. Please send us a message to inquire further. We do offer some sliding scale prices for inspiring projects, as well as discounts for returning clients. We also take 1-2 pro bono youth (age 12-23) coaching clients each year.
